Schorndorf Run 2025
The new outdoor running season has begun. The first event for the LAS sports team was the Schorndorf Run on the last weekend of April. Four colleagues participated in the main race. In perfect running weather, they ran 10 kilometers through the winding streets of Schorndorf's old town, cheered on by numerous spectators. All four achieved their personal goals for this run. This is a great way to start the season.
The Schorndorf Run took place for the 12th time. It's a small event with a family atmosphere. With over 1,600 runners, including about 500 in the main race, it was practically sold out. The charm of the 10-kilometer main race lies in the fact that it's run in 2.5-kilometer laps. Participants pass by the spectators four times. This is exciting for the spectators and has the advantage for the runners that they are cheered and encouraged along the entire route due to the short lap length.
We thank SG Schorndorf for the perfect organization and are already looking forward to the next Schorndorf Run.
